Hi,
I am a mobile application software developer that works on an ActiveSync email client. Our client currently supports Exchange protocols 2.5 through 14. We've had client interest in supporting Lotus mail server as well, but from what our clients tell us, the user agent has to have specific values in it for sync to work. I found this document online:
but this seems to deal more with the server configuration to restrict access than with what might be granted by the restrictions. My question is this. What is the Lotus server looking for when you set:
How can my user agent be written in such a way to support these flags when they are enabled? Does it look for "*Android*" for android and "*Apple*" or "*iOS*" for iOS, or something else? I cannot seem to find any specific documentation on the user agent values required.
Any documentation that you can point me to to help a developer discover other nuances that make Lotus email different than Exchange would also be appreciated.
